Ministers

Pastors Jerry and Peggy O’Brien

Pastor Jerry O’Brien is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Faith Harvest Fellowship in Orrville, Ohio. He was ordained in 1997 by Pastor Rod Parsley. In November 2003, God called Pastor Jerry to birth a fellowship (a new church). On the first Sunday of December 2003, Faith Harvest Fellowship Incorporated was formed and began holding services in the basement in the home of Pastors Jerry and Peggy O’Brien.

Pastor Jerry sat on the Ohio Pastoral Council Board for the Family Research Council and was a State Representative for FRC covering the northern 44 counties of Ohio. He sat on the newly formed Evangelical Advisory Council for Ohio’s governor. He was a faith-based representative for Wayne County, Ohio’s Opiate Task Force for over 5 years. Pastors Jerry and Peggy were married in 1978 and have two adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren.

Assistant Pastor Jamie Garrett and Rev. Sunny Garrett

Pastor Jamie Garrett became the Assistant Pastor at the beginning of 2025. As Assistant Pastor, he pastors the Wednesday Evening Encounter service, assists with the worship team, and oversees both the men’s ministry and LRM (Life Recovery Ministry). Prior to 2025, Pastor Jamie was the Worship Minister and Youth Minister.

Pastor Jamie has been in ministry since 1999 serving mainly as a Worship Leader/Minister; however, he has worked in many ministries including Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Mission Trips, Counseling, and many other ministries.

Rev. Sunny serves as the Children’s Minister and has led the children’s ministry at Faith Harvest Fellowship since 2017. She also served as the church secretary from 2018 until she was promoted to Office Manager and Facility Manager in 2025.

Rev. Sunny loves Jesus and loves serving His people, whether at Faith Harvest Fellowship or in the community. Her heart is to reach the next generation for Him and, through His Holy Spirit, empower them to be world changers for the Kingdom. She also has a passion for leading people to freedom and deliverance through His power. Both Pastor Jamie and Rev. Sunny are on Facebook and Instagram as JamienSunnyGarrett.

Rev. Travis Strong

Rev. Travis Strong was named Corporate Treasurer in 2025. He has been serving as IT Manager since 2018, and has been leading the Finance Committee since 2020.

As a minister. Rev. Travis supports the ministerial staff of Faith Harvest Fellowship, as well as providing guidance and direction to ministries of the church. As corporate treasurer, he has the responsibility of managing the church’s financial resources, ensuring they are handled responsibly and effectively. As IT Manager, he manages the technology and cybersecurity of the church. As the leader of the Finance Committee, he ensures the church’s overall annual financial budget is created and managed.

Rev. Jackie Nussbaum

Rev. Jackie Nussbaum is a charter member of Faith Harvest Fellowship and currently serves as Corporate Secretary, as well as personal secretary to the Senior Pastor. In 2004, she began serving in the office as church secretary/treasurer, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and everything else office related. When the Children’s Minister abruptly resigned, she served as Children’s Minister until a new Children’s Minister could be found.

Rev. Jackie serves in the multimedia ministry by recording, editing, and uploading videos for Facebook, YouTube, and Rumble. She also teaches the women’s group, as well as mentoring one-on-one when needed.

God gave Rev. Jackie a love for children when she served as Children’s Minister and that love continues. God also gave her a passion to teach, and her favorite moments are when she sees understanding in the eyes of those she is teaching as they receive revelation from God’s Word, whether they are children or adults. She also loves being used by God to be an encourager to those around her.
